Management Objectives

Remove all conifers from stand including overstory.

Remove competition to favor quaking aspen and paper birch growth.

Starting Condition

This location is in the Battle Creek Fire burn scar. There is regenerating ponderosa pine, bur oak, quaking aspen, and paper birch. There are also abundant smooth sumac, red raspberry, grasses, and forbs.

Ending Condition

All ponderosa pine was removed.
